ROCK EXPERIENCES UNDER THE MOLE

Roberto Mazzantipresents his latest book entitled ROCK EXPERIENCES UNDER THE MOLE.

A text in which the city of Turin is the theater and fulcrum of multiple events, initiatives, trends and innovations in the period from 1965 to 1985.

The book is dedicated to the children of the economic boom, especially those born and raised in the city of Turin, who were born between 1950 and 1970, and captures in detail the many circumstantial elements that influenced their youth.

It is the summary reconstruction of a special historical moment, which has forever marked the life of an entire generation at the mercy of multiple musical suggestions, animated by the desire for independence and freedom, amidst lacerating social tensions, protests, contradictions, strikes, pickets, parades, conflicts of all kinds in a very complex urban fabric such as that of Turin between the early seventies and early eighties.

The meeting will consist of dialogues, readings and projections of images with appropriate musical backgrounds.

The management will be entrusted to the journalist Marco Basso and the author. At the end of the presentation (lasting about 45 minutes) the public will be able to purchase copies of the book
